When it comes to decorating my home office, I’m embracing the process and taking my time to get it just right. I want this space to feel both inspiring and functional—a place where creativity flows but also feels like me. And while it’s still very much a work-in-progress, I’m excited to share a few pieces I’ve already added to the space (with links, of course!).

One of my favorite features so far is a wall I painted with dry erase paint. I wanted a creative, practical solution that would help me stay visually organized. Now I have a whole wall I can use for brainstorming ideas, mapping out content plans, jotting down weekly goals, or even leaving myself a little Monday motivation. It’s been a game-changer for how I work!

Choosing a glass desk was one of the things I decided on. I couldn’t commit to a specific color, and I really wanted the room to feel light and airy, not weighed down by a heavy, solid piece of furniture. The transparency of the glass gives the space an open, modern feel—exactly what I was going for.

When it came to seating, I gravitated toward a mid-century style desk chair. I was on the hunt for something comfortable, but I didn’t want a bulky or overly traditional desk chair. This one struck the perfect balance—stylish, supportive, and just a little unexpected.

To jazz things up, I added a Sputnik flush mount light fixture. It brings just the right touch of drama and modern flair without overpowering the space. Lighting can really make or break a room, and this one makes me smile every time I flip the switch.

Of course, I still have a ways to go. I’m planning to incorporate some greenery, secondary lighting, drapes, and wall art to warm things up and add more personality. I want it to be a space that evolves as I do.

Here are a few pieces I’ve already brought in that I’m absolutely loving:
