The theme explored the history and influence of Black DANDYISM in fashion, spotlighting how Black men have historically used tailored clothing as a powerful form of self-expression and cultural resistance. For the first time in two decades, the gala centered its focus on menswear.

What is DANDYISM, you ask? A style rooted in rebellion, refinement, and radical self-expression. The red carpet became a runway of tailored elegance, where sharp lapels, dramatic capes, and bold brooches told stories of power, pride, and poise. This wasn’t just fashion; it was lineage. Every stitch whispered legacy. Every look shouted freedom.

And the GRILLS? The Grills took center stage at the 2025 Met Gala, becoming one of the night’s most talked-about accessories. They weren’t just for flash, they were a nod to a deeper legacy.
